Been fighting a parasitic drain every since I got the GX about a month ago. When doing some cleaning today, I noticed that the lights were on, on the master switch, with the door open and the keys no where near the truck. I am able to open and close the drivers side window at all times, but no other windows. If I hit the lock out button, the other lights go out. Right now I have the switch panel unplugged and will see if that solves the drain. Does this sound like it could be fixed with a new switch, or is this more likely a BCM problem?

Took the switch off the panel, and it turns out it was aftermarket. Bought an OEM switch, so we will see if that fixes the problem.

This is a common problem with aftermarket window switches for the GX. Let us know if OEM switch fixed your problem!

Over a week later, no battery issues. Looks like problem solved. Lights don't work in the new switch, but thats much less of an inconvenience then a dead battery every other day.

Does the auto up/down work? If not, the lights may be off because the switches need to be reset. Roll each window down at each door and then roll back up and hold the switch still in the up position for a second or two and then let go.

…or maybe the lights just don’t work.

relearning was the 1st thing I did after I plugged in the switches, the lights just don't work.
