Will these u joints fit 2-'75 40 and/or 8-'85 60

Shot in the dark I know but Google is not helping.

Going thru my stash and found this new in a box, I bought it at the Stockton Swap Meet over 10 years ago. At some point I wrote on the box 'may fit, may not'. Thought I'd see if any one knows if it will fit either a 2-'75 40 or a 8-'85 60.

I believe they're 58-74 40-series, equivalent to 04371-36010

It may fit the 75.

Good if it might fit my 2-'75 40. What make you think it may fit the '75 ?

I think the spiders have all been super'd so 1/74-90. But I don't know if the one you have, made for early 40s will fit later

It may fit the 75.

I was thinking the early ones 58-74 had the snap rings at the end of the bearing cap
the 75+ had the snap ring on the inside of the cap close to the cross.
