Will these hubs work on LJ78?

Hoping someone can help me determine if these will fit the LJ78.

If you currently have electric hubs those won’t work without different spindles and hubs. Search for manual hub conversion here, there are several threads detailing what all is required. I recently purchased a manual hub donor axle and will be converting mine soon.

You will need a spacer like this.

I am running those on my lj78. I had to get the spacers. Also had to face the cores down a bit to get the snap rings on. Or you can use the cores from your auto hubs. You’ll see what I mean when you install them.

I think Summit Racing has those for about $170 a set.

Yes they work fine with a spacer.

Not Aisin hubs, but AVM. I am using a spacer. 92 HZJ73. I don’t have a pic showing just the spacer, but these are the dirty parts after disassembly.

Thanks all. Due to the cost of rebuilding the transfer case I've decided to just get it roadworthy as is and just run it in 2wd for the time being.

Got compression test results finally:

1. 422psi
2. 410psi
3. 405psi
4. 398psi

I guess that's not too bad all things considered.
