What do you think of the wide front fenders? The axles are 59" wms to wms, HP dana 44 front and Nissan rear.

BEFORE/ stock w 32x11.50

I think they look great, but I caught a lot of crap for making mine wide to cover 80 axles and 40s.

Thats just cuz they were jealous of the rest of your rig, and had to say something !

As functional and law abiding as it may be, I have never been a fan of widening fenders/flares/any body part to cover up tires. I love the look of tires hanging outside the body. I like no fenders up front like Isotel's rig . Rig is looking real good though!

We do alot of this:

And I DO NOT LIKE SANDY WATER IN MY BEER! So I have to cover the front tires or I get covered with sand.

This is the rig I built and sold so I could get the FJ I always wanted.

I always have to be different (not own a j**p):D

gary's rig is absolutely beautiful except for the surfboards bolted to the front end.

i just can't stand wide fenders

Let me see some pics of wide front fenders. I have only seen one with stock looking wide front.

Thanks for the comment on the scout, I built it because all those j**p guys seemed to do this alot! The Binder was the recovery vehicle:p

What is "that" called? Everyone fills their cooler, gets together at the local river, and drives down it? Back home, we use boats for such occaions ;p Quite the sight, I've never seen so many rigs in the water like that, I'm sure its a blast though!

Look's good

The fender is lookin good v!I'd like to see the shot from the front when you getm both done,i'm liking your wheel's and tire's they look real familiar ha!:flipoff2:

I was looking at the pictures and scratching my head. What the hell? Driving down the river drinking beer with 20 other rigs? Where do you live?

Ewheeler is right, I would rather do that in a raft or a boat.

i dont think there are alot of trails, rocks, or other stuff in Nebraska.. lol

Fenders look good, but in my neck of the woods, im glad to have better viability, and less sheet metal to bash, so i took mine off.

Around here there has been some major issues with Fisheries regarding pictures of stream crossings on public forums. They assume all streams are fish bearing even if its a ditch...

And Isotel I'm with you, except there are to many trees to hit the fenders on here!

Are you allowed to run around the streets with out fenders?

What about making something comes off fast, so you can get too the trail.

I don't run w/o any fenders, but mine are cut w/ only about 3-4 inches outside of the fender apron. I have been driving my cruiser around here for about 8 months w/o any issues. It flings stuff everywhere when the roads are wet but I like the look and don't care if my vehicle is dirty.

Not much for rocks here. Ill give you a shot of the rear tube flare, makes the front not look so wide.
