Wanted Wide car hauler trailer (deck over wheels)

Hello,
I need to find a score deal on something I can use to carry lifted trucks with larger than normal tires (i.e. lifted 80 series cruiser). I am thinking deck over fenders may be the direction I need to go because the little trailers that are for sale everywhere are too narrow. I also need something with brakes at least on one axle and preferably both. I live at 4000 ft. elevation in the mountains and brakes are a necessity. Let me know what you have and your price. Just know I am on a budget crunch- so near retail prices are out of the question. I am not opposed to doing cosmetic work like minor damage or paint if needed to get a great deal. Yup! That looks like the right direction! Will the ramp hold the weight of a cruiser?

Are there brakes on the axles?

Another option is to remove the fenders and build drive over fenders on them or make the fenders removable and just drive over the trailer tires. A lot of the guys with big trucks do that.

I was thinking the same thing, a deck up over the tires will raise your center of gravity pretty high, making it top heavy, especially with a lifted rig above that.

Go take a look at your local Uhaul their trailers have nicely designed fenders that will flip down to allow wider width vehicles to be loaded, and look pretty simple to copy or possibly even source them out from the company that makes the uhaul trailers.

Now that's a good Idea, I will look into the cost of doing that... The key will be to score a car hauler cheap enough to budget the mods
