Thanks guys, I'm headed to flying j sometime this morning so I'll let you know if I find something

Well UPS was supposed to deliver an antenna today but it never came and now the tracking says that it's returning to sender in Las Vegas so I don't have an antenna...

Going to try the flying J truck stop in Belgrade tomorrow hopefully they have one so I can join you this weekend. If only you could access CB frequencies with a HAM radio :bang:

Check with Bridger Communications on north Jackrabbit. They will have antennas on hand. They do all the stuff for local emergency vehicles.

Contact Info -- Bridger Communications, INC

Just got back from the flying j. All they had was 5 ft antennas so it's a bit taller than I wanted (wanted a 3 ft) but it'll work. Looks like I'm all set.

Always room for more!

Not sure how late in the day you would meet us, or how that would quite work..

Were meeting my brother in Boulder at the town pump at 10:30ish then we head up Little Boulder Road. GPS for the start of the road is:
w112 07' 16" n46 13' 34"

You basically follow the road and stay right, then it turns into gravel and gets worse the deeper you get into the woods. There is a junction you take at W112 14' 19" N46 09' 17" to go to the Eureka mine. (harder portion I believe its a right) Were going to Eureka first. Then backtrack and follow the road the the junction and go the other way to the shiels mine. (easier in comparison to Eureka). Then you retrace your steps back to the start.

At least this is what i get from the guidebook. and from people who have done the trail.

were going to camp out somewhere...but since ive never been out there cant say for sure. Possibly somewhere along the easier portion...Since there is only one way in and out i cant imagine it would be too hard to find us..not sure though

Ok cool sounds good thanks for the directions. I'm guessing I will be couple hours behind as I just got to load up in the morning and head out. See ya on the trail Thanks:steer:

Looks like I will tagging along as well.

Finally, my radio is in so I'm in too. See you all tomorrow.
