why doesn't toyota take into account departure / arrival angles ?

it seems toyota doesn't really care about departure , arrival angles when it comes to their flagship suv ?


why is that ? are they confident most will put after market bumpers ?

Not sure, but mine has done better than expected. So far, no big scratches in the front and all rear scratches are low enough where not usually visible.

My gwagon has similar scratches and posts way better stats.

Mine has been over dirt verticals 3' high and by carefully placing the front tires most of my paint remains.

If you haven't yet managed to rip the front and rear bumpers off, you're not using the vehicle properly.
