Why do the dash instrument lights not work but dash hazard and dash blinker lights work? Also the guages work as they should. (1 Viewer)

I haven't used that cleaner, but if you're trying to get some cleaning action through the vents, pressure from the spray may help things along.

Or alternatively, immersing the switch assembly in vinegar while working the mechanism might work too.

I haven't tried either, but might be an easier way to go if you're uncomfortable opening up the switch mechanism to take it apart and clean it.

Maybe someone else can chime in?
Would compressed air and vinegar I’ll try…or the cleaner. I appreciate you staying up late tonighg with me on this! Lol

@dplenty99, you might consider taking the switch apart and clean and grease the contacts. Becareful, there are likely springs inside. You might want to open it in a box, so you can catch flying parts.
Use the search function. Here's a link. I'm sure there's more info out there.

@dplenty99 I want to personally thank you for starting this post because I was having the same issues. I thought the problem was in the main harness or something to do with the cluster. So today I looked around for another switch that I have and literally changed it out with the one I currently had and what do you know.
