seems likely that an antenna tuned to 151 would do fine at 144. Difference is small, consider the type of compromise one does routinely with dual band antennae for example?
(ahem: even more black helos now... you're just lucky there are all these fires around, otherwise you'd already been nabbed...)

Also, dont forget before you take your test to go on the FCC website and get your issue FRN number. The FCC no longer lets you use your socal security number. The website will automatically generate you a FRN and you take that with you to your testing. If you dont , you cannot take the test. If your taking a test to 'upgrade' then you already have a FRN number. You can get the FRN number by heading to site and logging in under your calsign.
The West book (been studying for about 3 weeks straight everyday) and Qrz online Exam over and over and over until scoring 80% or better every single time. Scoring high on all 12 tests right now. Should smoke the test in 5 mins. Picking up the radio, antenna and mount tomorrow at HRO. Install will be Saturday AM. Im excited!

It's a very new regulation. Probably wasn't enforced yet when you took the test. Wait, i thought you haven't taken the test yet?

I passed the Technician class exam today - there were a couple of Rover guys that took it too (hehehe I definitely made more correct choices in comparison - just joking).
