Jaws is gone? no way....why? I know that trail changes all the time but that was a rather large boulder....Yulp I mean the rear DS sorry for the confusion..and of course I will pay who ever has one for it...

I have a few spares that I could bring....

complete minitruck front end,
60 rear driveshaft, and
a few birfs, and a few 3rd members...

Got pushed around sideways. You can drive around to the right or the left. The left is sloppy and throws you into a tree, and the right is steeper and is very difficult for shorter wheelbase rigs without going very off camber.

Bump

Looks like the weather will be unpredictable as usual this year according to weather.com. Gasbuddy.com tells me I should trailer down a couple hundred gallon tank to fillup and bring home with me. Hmm, gallon of regular in Knoxville is about $2.60, down the street from my house is $3.19 :crybaby: Yeah there is definitely no price fixing going on in my area...
 
I'm organized and ready, but pouring rain here....leaving Fri evening or Sat morning, depending on weather and motivation....arriving Sun morning sometime I suspect, unless I make other detours ;)
 
Go to Harrisonburg and head west on highway 33. If you get there first, just wait for us; we'll be there soon.
 
850 miles one way....

40 has been the trailer since Rockport, so I just need to check tire pressure on the trailer

80 needs air in the tires and airbags and the trailer hooked...loaded up other than an ice bag for the beer cooler, a bottle of Korbel XS for mix, and my food fridge.

outta be rollin by 5:30, believe I'm gonna crash in Attica tonite and stop thru the Badlands tomorrow morning for a bit to chat with Troy...may crash somewheres on Sat night too, like Jellico area or even into Knoxville....and arrive at a leisurely pace on Sun noonish.

almost feels like vacation :D
 
Im going up monday morning. But the problem is I didn't register so I will probably have to just look for a campsite along the trail. Thats the other problem is the two guys I was going with had to bail out so it looks like ill be camping solo this year along the trail somewhere and taging along some group for trail rides. I still cannot wait though!
