i had 2 busted leaves in of of my rear spring packs and 1 in my other rear spring pack when i took em off and then a couple others that were "cracked" meaning probally busted as well but i cant verify as i didnt take the pack apart. but luckily i never broke the main leaf.
in these old 60's series it pretty common for broken leafs. it metal... it gets brittle over time and when used as a spring and flexing all the time its gonna happen. even more so if you wheel the truck.
