Your ride is sick lookin! I really like how it is blacked out around the windows. What's the story on your cruiser; restored, new paint, etc?

i sent him my 60 and 6 months later, i got this:

it runs like new. thanks jim!

None of these guys are telling you the truth--

Jim C. is in fact a deep cover operative for the elite, CIA-trained Drinksalot-Delta Seal Team based at the water-front navy facility in Lancaster, OH. His Landcruiser guru persona is no more than a front for his clandestine activities on behalf of our US of A.

Dangit Spike, that's sposed to be secret stuff.

$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$ got any left?
No. We set a budget amount and fixed up to it.

Window tint & chrome wheels was not my work. :flamingo:

Sorry, bud, didn't mean to blow your cover. But on the bright side, now you've got all those potential customers in Paki-Afgani- and all the other stans!

And on a serious note: Thanks for all the righteous info you spread on this board! And as the SEALS say: "The only easy day was yesterday!"

relatively new to cruisers, but not new to toyotas. had a 79 toy pickup 4x4 and 87 4runner. slowly fixing/replacing what's needed on my 60. paint is relatively new. interior is in awesome condition - just added new carpet and sor seat covers. i have a little frame rust aft of the rear axle. i found a great shop that's going to fix the spots next month. we took it camping last weekend and made the 90 mile trek, street and trail, easily. it was loaded with gear, family, and doing 65 with the a/c blowing cold. i have been reading the forum for awhile, but felt inclined to comment when i saw the comment on jim. he is a virtual encyclopedia on toyota 4x4's (and VW's as well!).
