Who are we ordering OEM parts from these days?

Hey, do they have a discount code for ‘Mud users? I’m down in Wichita, KS and the local guys at the dealership aren’t too interested in helping.
No code for them but I haven't asked either. I've got some more stuff to order soon abd will call first. Maybe I can get something going? Even with shipping I still come out ahead of the local dealers most of the time unless I need something right away.

Man, I totally forgot that I’ve ordered stuff from toyotapartsdeal.com several times. Easy to look up parts numbers. They’ve been easy to deal with.

I spoke with Mark via email at Olathe and they are offering $10 off a $150 subtotal using the code IH8MUD if anyone is interested. I've had pretty good luck with them myself.

I second toyotapartsdeal.com. If you live far away from a dealer like me they are an excellent source of OEM parts. I have bought all kinds of gaskets, hoses and interior parts from them. just find the toyota part number you need and type it in their search engine.

I've used toyotapartsdeal many times, but my last two shipments of small stuff has not been packed right. In the first case, it was control arm nuts and bolts, and the package arrived empty and open, with a note from my local post office that said they got it like that. They refunded me. In the second case, it was a power steering hose, and half the hose was popping out of the nearly open box, about to fall out!

thats unfortunate

Nope. The music died unfortunately when both Dan and Onur retired
from the parts business. Like so much in life we often don't miss
things (or people) until they're gone, figuratively speaking of course
(they're both still alive and chime in now and then).

There are a few dealerships that have online parts departments,
Norwark in Kali and McGeorge in VA are two.
