Whirl/wha wha/ whine noise

Sorry in advance ….

Looking for suggestions on where to start . Mechanic experience is very low , bought this rig to learn how to work on cruisers.

I’m having a rotational whirl upon acceleration that’s quietens with highway speed with more noise when turning right at times , here’s what I’ve noticed ….

-When I changed the front diff fluid higher than normal metal shavings prevalent
- both front wheel bearings replaced with all steps followed
- when off-road on muddy roads there is a grinding noise when trying to maintain traction
- grease thrown everywhere under passenger side undercarriage (my mechanic said the CV axle was recently replace , non OEM used possibly?

I’ve searched the forums and at times can be overwhelming for someone who is very beginner but I’m looking for advice on maybe where to begin first .

My plans ….
Originally I was going to replace the passenger cv axle as well as worn u-joints this weekend .

If anyone has any suggestions , they are greatly appreciated and again sorry for the cluelessness!!

also to note , while I was under the car I noticed the steering rack has began leaking . Not real sure how to diagnose this boys

That's CV grease for sure. And judging by the looks of the outer end of the axle there's no way that one has been out of there recently.
With limited info I'd be planning to do that axle, and bearing service on at least that side.

Thank you! Local Toyota had the axle in stock so it will be attempted tomorrow

I'm not so great with links here but be sure to educate yourself about the wheel bearing service and fitting the correct spring clips.
Just look for axle/CV threads.
