Getting ready to start on a Center Arm rebuild on my '82 40, and through my searching, I haven't figured out which type of grease to use during reassembly. On hand, I have some generic Napa White Lithium grease, and then left over from my front axle rebuild, I have some Wheel Bearing grease and some Moly grease. Just looking to see what everyone thinks would be best?
From what I have read, the most fun part about this rebuild will be getting the center arm pivot shaft seperated from the arm.
I am using a rebuild kit from Kurt at Cruiser Outfitters and instructions from Coolerman's site (which is a great how-to reference guide to a lot of these types of tasks, BTW): Center Arm Rebuild
Thanks in advance, and wish me luck.
