I installed a roof light bar and connected it to an OEM style switch from CH4x4, but the little image on the switch is lit even when the vehicle is off. I purchased a fuse tap to write into the switch so it turns off with the vehicle, and wonder which fuse others have tapped into? It seems unlikely but the mechanic told me the draw from the light bar killed m 1.5 year old battery recently so it would be great to resolve. Thanks!

Thanks. What's weird is I have an inline fuse and relay but the switch still stays on. I thought I needed the Fuse tap to fix that. Maybe I wired it incorrectly?

yeah I would assume it's not wired correctly. Is yours wired kind of like this?

It’s typically based on how your switch is wired. There is usually a setting for constant light and one that only illuminates when in use. Below is an example.
