Which fuse is used for the radio? When plugging in to the connector in the dash.

It's the blown one. :flipoff2:

Cig I believe.

Pulled that, still have power. Any other suggestion ?

Still have power?

What are you trying to do? Do you have an aftermarket stereo? Guess I'm lost on what the goal is?

I have working aftermarket stereo. I was tapping into the power source of the stereo when everything radio lost power. There is no power before the fuse on the power connection. So I am assuming that I blew a fuse. But the cigarette lighter still works so I am sure that the power does not come from the same source.

Maybe the fusible links? Sorry don't have my 80 around to dig any further. Just off the top of my head.

Some threads say some fuse but I don't see that either

I have a '91 but am having the same issue. I know I blew a fuse hooking up my power mirrors wrong. Radio, clock, and mirrors are a no go.

Maybe the fuse for dome light, trying to locate that now.

Not sure what year you have, but on my 97 there is a fuse box under the hood on drivers side that might be worth checking.

So, I found the culprit, a 10AMP fuse that is under the hood in the forward fuse box. There is only 1 10AMP fuse, and it is located on the lower right hand corner, 1 up from the bottom if you are looking it while standing at the driver side front quarter panel.

I was going crazy thinking that it was under the little panel on the interior.

I just answered this question a day or so ago, to the guy with the power mirrors

Its the dome light fuze. Dome lights, radio, cig lighter?, power mirrors...all off of one 10amp fuze of and if youre ever driving at night and your gauges go dead and the backlights die, try the tail lamp fuze...Toyota has always showed its ass in wiring. Still love them though
