Searched and found recommendations for Amsoil BRAND ATF on here, but did not see specifics on which line of Amsoil ATF.

Amsoil has a Signature Series Multi-Vehicle, and a OE Multi-Vehicle. Signature Series is a few more dollars per quart. Any experience or suggestions?

I use Mobil 1 ATF easy to find in oil, gear lube & grease as-well, keeps it simple. Can't say much about Amsoil except I'd go with their top recommendation. Why not spend the extra few bucks, IIRC 12qt x $2 = $24 dollars extra plus one more qt for power steering, if you don't waste three qt like I did the first time.

Either one would be a good choice. I use the Multi vehicle. Consider some of their motor oils that last 15,000 miles. Who's going to go that long. I'm sure they will last but I can't. Going to change it earlier anyway.

Every time you change your oil, drain about three quarts of transmission fluid from the drain plug, that's all you will get out anyway, and replace with Amsoil Multi Vehicle, Mobile 1 or other good synthetic. Always use new Toyota gaskets on both oil and trans. drain plugs. If the heads are worn on the drain plugs, replace them.

I agree I don't keep motor oil past 5K, even though M1 EP motor oil with M1 filter is guarantied for 15K. In the case of M1 EP, I just spend the extra $2 a qt for the little extra piece of mind.

I am a firm believe in a full flush of transmission each time, I drain the 3 qt, replace with fresh then flush out the other 9qt. But that's me, I just can't see adding fresh in with old ATF especially when changing brands.

I've tried Dexron IV ATF which improved mpg a touch over M1, both reduce mpg over factory fluid. But I like the feel of M1 over VI which is much better than II or III. Lower vibration & smoother shifting at the price of about .5 mpg with M1 full synthetic multi Vehicle ATF.

My next flush I'm considering pulling pan also for first time.

What year did they change to the T-IV? Was it in 2003 with the 750? I know at some point they went to WS. In doing a little reading, it sounds like T-IV is very similar to D-III but with some 'friction modifiers'. Whereas the WS is a lighter weight fluid all together.

To the OP, very happy (thus far) with the Amsoil ATF in my 2000.
