I am in need of an interior on my newly purchased 02 LX470 and need front seat cushions as well as 1st and 2nd row to be recovered.

Ive seen LC Heaven's items but read they have long waits and do not have the greatest customer service.

So, can anyone tell me what they would suggest and share your experience with them?

Pics are always welcome!

TIA

There is also Ridies

and LSeat

I have used lseat: Leather Seat Covers | Custom Leather Interior | Replacement Seat Covers | Lseat.com - https://www.lseat.com/
$349 for both front seats.

There are some mixed reviews on the forum with lseat, mainly issues with poor communication and shipping delays, some issues with quality, and some issues with the console cover and armrest.

I have actually used them 3 times (front seats only), with some minor hiccups (center console leather required some modification, also had to slightly fabricate/modify a holding bar along the seat back bottom), but nothing difficult or complicated.

The first installation was in my wife's '04 LX470 around December of 2017. Paid an installer to do it. Now almost 4 years later, the driver's side seat bottom is starting to show some wear (we are hard on them), and looks like some cracking may be starting (just on driver's side). I suspect they will need replacing again in 2 years. I have done nothing to maintain or condition them. Regardless, overall they have held up pretty well, not as good as original, and I'm still pleased for the price.

Second lseat installation was in my '00 LC around February 2019, they still look great.

Third installation was in '00 4Runner in January '21, did these myself (replaced the drivers seat foam and added seat heaters).

I know there are other options out there, and likely better quality, but I have been happy with lseat.

I used LSEATS about 3-4 years ago on my 80 series. The color match wasn't perfect, but overall they were pretty good fit. It was quite a job to install them. it took me 2 days, much more time consuming than i expected. Probably took me 14 hours total.

Thank you so much for all of the replies!

Another quick question on cushions....

Why is the drivers cushion the same part number for LC and LX but different for the passenger side?

Part number for LC pass is 71501-60070 and the LX is 71501-60060. The LC part is less money as well.

Thinking if theyre confirmed different that I should just get the LC cushion since a worn LX wound fit as good as a worn LX.

Checkout Cerullo. They are super responsive, low lead time, and nice people. Very high quality covers too!

I am leaning towards Ridies since they offer kappa leather. Ive already requested leather samples.

Ill get samples from other vendors before I make a final decision.

Hey.. these might be of interest to someone here.

I've been happy with my ridies front seat kit for about a year now. I did have a hard time finding someone local to install them but eventually found one for a reasonable price, want to say it was 5-600$ for front seats/armrest only.

So 1200 is reasonable?

If that's front and rear then yeah that's probably what I would have paid here. It's alot of labor, I wouldn't want to do it myself. Definitely an experience game, you can find some good youtube videos on it, looks like a total PITA to me.

I went for Ridies.com Nappa leather and couldn’t be happier.

Looks great! Did you install these yourself?
I usually do all the work on my LX but I have limited time on this so I had a local upholstery guy do it for me.

Used L Seats twice, solid product for a great price. Have had them in my daughters for 4 years and my sons for 2 years. No issues. Paid 600 in labor for the front seats and center console.

Installed some Carhartt covers today. Pretty good fit and easy to install in an hour.

I'm not crazy about the color, but isn't awful either. Anyone have the grey (Gravel) on their tan seats?
