HELLO EVERYONE. I AM NEW TO THE SITE AND JUST PURCHASED A 92 LANDCRUISER. i HAVE SEARCHED ALL OVER TRYING TO FIND THE CLEAR CORNER LENSES FOR MY CRUISER AND HAVE HAD NO LUCK. IF ANYONE CAN ASSIST ME WITH FINDING A SITE OR SOMEONE SELLING A SET, PLEASE LEAVE FEEDBACK.

ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW IF ANY PARTS OFF THE 100SERIES ARE INTERCHANGEABLE WITH THE FJ80 (OR ANYOTHER TOYOTA VEHICLE)

%$#@^ %$#@^ Welcome aboard,,,,,,now prepare to get hassled for not knowing how to turn off the caps lock key and asking about clear lenses. BTW - you should get some guards for your tail lights.

I was in Ontario last week. Would love to get a tour of that Toyota plant.

Check with Mot too. You can find him on here. He's in Japan and can get dome really cool stuff.

Yup , I got mine thru Mot ... in a round about manner . He's up front to deal with , and has been quite helpful in the past looking up parts available in Japan ..

PM him with a wish list .

From one newbie to another, I suggest you lurk for awhile and watch the threads/search for answers to your questions, you will be pleasantly surprised by the amount of information you will pick up as a result.

Remember too, that when you post questions about whatever is wrong with your cruiser (and you will), you should (1) search this forum before posting, someone else has probably discussed the problem and various solutions (2) try to describe the problem as clearly as possible and state the year, miles and modifications made to your truck and (3) state what attempts have already been made to repair the problem. Then again, you can ignore my advice and face the wrath of Junk, Woody and others. That's always good for a laugh from the rest of us... :)

I assume that you already own or are arranging to get a Factory Service Manual (FSM), too. I'll stop with repeating the Newbie guide now.

Clear corner lenses, what for? Would you like a lowering kit to go with that? You bought a truck, not a Civic.

Um,

Mine are clear...........:D

A good NRA member with clear lenses on his truck, what is the world coming to?

I aint just a good one, I'm a lifer....:flipoff2:

Should I not tell you that I have side turn indicators too? :D

Did somebody say LENSES?

Actually, I am out of them right now.
Even if I did have any I don't think I would be able to do any better than the link/site nakman's posted, especially with international shipping (do those guys sell them new or use?).

Didn't cdan used to be able to get some new? At least for either 91-94 or 95-97? I'll check with my Toyota guy here and see if he can get some for 91-97 and see how much they are, if you want. But last I checked, he was telling me that, at least, optional parts were getting harder, if not impossible, to get anymore.

Now, if you need other lenses, I might be able to help. :D

Good luck!! Let me know if I can help.

Slow On The Uptake Here

...............How many do you want?...............;p

yeh, I got mine from cruiserparts.net also. They are easy do deal with. The lenses were brand new OME in Toyota boxes.

Its adds a nice look to the front and rear. No drop kit is necessary. lol Actually i just ordered my manik front brushguard and i will have the manik tail guards in a little over a week. Besides that I have a lot learn about offroading. Might as well look clean before i get it really dirty...

Why hasn't someone suggested going over to Pirate ?? Those are swell guys that love to encourage diversity and form over function , no ? Nobody have the link handy ?

;) ;p ;)

Someone please stop him....it's forum suicide!!!

Save your money on the Manik stuff, if you really want to start off roading, get an OME lift kit, a good rear bumper and some sliders followed by a Bull bar and winch. Click on slee's link above.

OneSikKiddie,

>> ALSO DOES ANYONE KNOW IF ANY PARTS OFF THE 100SERIES ARE INTERCHANGEABLE WITH THE FJ80 <<

NO, THE 100 SERIES PARTS WILL NOT FIT YOUR RICED UP 80. :D (other than the front brake pads...)

Please do yourself a favor and do not buy that grill guard and tail light guard stuff. Save your money for a proper front bar like the ARB or the Slee. They are known as "damage multipliers" and completely worthless for a vehicle that is planned to be used off-road.
