one second Baywolf.... you know what.. first of all, i did not come on this board to hear, or should i say read, you "kiddie" comments. If i choose to like clear lights, guess what, that only means i like clear lights. I see no reason to criticize me of my preferences. If anything, young lad, respect the fact that i enjoy the same vehicle that everyone on this site enjoys. I only ask the questions that i ask becuase i am unaware and "ignorant" of knowing the entirety of the landcruiser.

I dont mean to sound harsh, but i do not believe in bashing someone or trying to "redirect" someone more towards you style or preferences.

Well anyways.... thas enuff of that. All jokes aside, I enjoy my vehicle, and I hope there are people on this site that can direct or assist me accordingly to the questions i ask.

Now.. who is the individual that has the clear tail lights and are they still available on market?

If you're coming to this board looking for experience and can't take the friendly hazing, you're in the wrong place. There are lots of people here that run clear lenses...some like them some don't, some joke that they drive ricers becasue that's where the look started. Toughen up...and stick around and you'll learn the feel of the board.

As for the Manik setup. You'll be hard pressed to find anyone here that will "recommend" them to you. They're proven to do more damage to the vehicle that protect it from anything. That's our experience and wisdom to pass on. No one's going to stop you from hanging yourself...hell we'll even kick in the rope if you want.

Fact is that you're not the first or the last to ask these questions. You're not the first or the last to get our opinions of these products. The question seems to come up more often than you would think. You've gotten 3 sources from this tread so far...take you pick and make you choice. Do a search on Brush Gaurd if you want to learm more about why we tried to stear you away...or just buy it, no one really cares that much anyway.




p.s. 36's look nice on a cruiser...but you're going to need a lift. Can I make a suggestion? Search on it as it's discussion rate rivals political threads in Chat. (hint...just look in the FAQs)

Just a little friendly advice, you might want to let Beowolf go. You don't know who your messing with and he a purveyor of much LC wisdom. Just an . Maybe go to chit chat and see what happens when you play with the wrong folks. Z71 comes to mind

Oh and p.s. the manik stuff really is a damage multiplier and if you have any thoughts of serious offroading with your truck it kinda identifies you as a

Well i am definitely going to keep in mind about the manik brush guards. I have only had the vehicle for about 3 weeks. I did find the clear lights... they are going for 90.00. Any of you guyz mind posting some pics of your LC?

You've already been warned, but, don't, don't, don't. This is the first thing for you to learn about offroading, the first stiff foxtail weed will rip those things off and take sheet metal with them.

THAT IS QUITE NICE..... Thanx. I have quite a few plans for the LC. I can say that i am glad that i came across this site. This site seems to be the most imformative and active site i have come across. Plus there are several individuals with different ideas on modifiying and styling there LC. I can see myself on this site for some time to come.

Im hoping to pick up the clear tails as well as the front corners. then i am cool with the light mods. Suspension will be next.

Light mods are not complete without a set of HIR bulbs, 1875 lumens output v. stock 1000 lumens. No blue color, no bul****, just light. See the FAQ. BTW, I found another supplier, hirheadlights.com.
