Yep, used to live within walking distance for 3 years. I had forgotten about it. Neat dive for sure. Shreveport is a foodie heaven.

Noob input: I may know nada about 80's, but I know food! In Memphis, there's a hole-in-the-wall place called De JaVu. Creole/cajun food, best etouffee I've ever put in my mouth (and I'm a South MS boy by raisin'). On Florida Street, just south of Crump. Don't go after dark (dangerous and they close early).
Inez used to throw me out of there when I was underage a long, long time ago. Now she just hugs me. Its been too long.
Ms. Inez dishes out the best burgers EVER
I want to go tomorrow! Hot damn I love me an Inez burger!
HMMMM.....that is the second one of these pronouncements I have gotten this week.
On the trail again.....that's always good.
I'm in for a trip to CS's. I bought my Belhaven Heights apartment buildings in the parking lot 10 years ago. Good times.
Nolan/Jeff haven't responded Greg...but im in if you want to go today.
If you ever find yourself on I-10 in Miss on the coast you have to go to "The Shed" in Gautier (right off the interstate 1 exit east of Ocean Springs). Best BBQ on the coast from NO to Pensacola. Make sure and get the banana pudding cup for desert. Ribs are incredible, Sausage, Chicken, and Brisket to die for.. Voted in the top 10 on Diners, Dives, and Drives In's....
