Let me start by saying I am a hack in the garage, but willing to try antything. I am trying to find the TDC so I can finish the tuneup on my 77 rig. I can not find the TDC marks anywhere? I know I am close, because I took out the #1 spark plug and I feel air pushing out, I also checked with a screwdriver to see if the piston was up. The picture in the book, shows a crank shaft window, but I can not find anything on my rig that looks like the picture. There is an arrow point down the crank shaft cover plate, but that's it. Thanks for your help, with this pathetic call out for help.

The picture is showing the flywheel not the crank. Look for the window on the passenger's side above the starter. TDC is the line, not the BB.

Yeah, the dot is 7 degrees before TDC, which should be your timing mark.
