I've been having problems with my fuel pump and fuel filter, but I don't know where to look to change it out. Is it between the pump and the carb?

dmaddox said:no, its just right there. There are two stock filters. There is the one that has already been mentioned, buttoned to the frame, underneath the battery tray, and another one on the fuel return line, underneath the emissions cover behind the passenger seat.
Toyota ones are metal, with a bracket to srew it back onto the frame. Although the cheap checker auto parts plastic filters work fine, they just dangle there.
