Where do you see this club in 2 years?

I have no idea where to wheel. When I use to wheel a lot it was always around the LowCountry. Either off the side of roads or my hunt clubs. Most hunt clubs do not allow that anymore(plus I am not a member of any anymore) and most places are private property. That kind of wheeling is an insult to our rigs anyway. They perform best and belong in the mountains.

as soon these weekends get normal and cruiser back on the road the glutches will see me at least once a month

Everyone is down on the club but what is the positives of having a club and not just being a group of guys that just wheels and meets to talk or fix cruisers from time to time.

Discounts, raffles, wheeling events with discounted admission, food, etc. group buys, wealth of knowledge to ask questions to.

I will admit that I am not as involved as I would like to be. Back before there was a club, I was one of the main players in getting it going. As most of you know, my life took a HUGE downturn on November 30th, 2008. I am just now recovering from that.
In addition to that, most of my weekends are taken. The Reserves takes up 1 a month (but I can make C-Town meetings if they are planned on my Reserve weekends) and my band usually plays 2 of the other weekends.
I am still with the club 100% though in spirit, and will do anything I can to help keep it going or re-boot it or whatever it needs. Just ask. I would LOVE to go to more events and meetings, as you guys are a huge pain in the ass. I like that about you.

LC is not going anywhere. From my aspect y'all are doing just fine. All clubs go through cycles. UC certainly has. In 03 we had a vote to see if we wanted to even continue the club. 4 years later we had 150 members.

The economy sucks right now. Money is tight. People are more focused on taking care of their own. In time all that will come back. Ironically I sat down with David this week and talked with him about LC. I think I gave him a good insight into what could be done to bring everything full circle.

And just so you know UC if fully behind LC. If our members need help we will always be there to pick you up when you are down.

You're doing a great job.

Marshall,
Did you ever receive my last PM on the steering box?

My thinking exactally, life has tossed me lemmons latley but soon if health and karma allow hope to be arround so often you guys throw rocks at me. Still plodding on the 60 but had a bad episode the other day:bang: just before gsmtr and had to have stress tests and other insults to my pride at the doctors voodoo realm. Thanks be to the being in charge as all they found was a imbalance caused by blood pressure med's, so back to work and back to play working on the 60, just about every week end. Why don't you all quit fussing and come up and take out your furstration on applying bed liner or sanding with me. Invitation always open. Guys hang in there we will be more active again before long. :)
