Costco used to be the best place going (tire price, mounting/lifetime balance, warranty, RIGHT next to my office) but then they got stupid and would not mount tires differing from vehicle door spec.

I have gotten two sets from Big O, and the particular guy who manages the shop is great to deal with. Plus, Big O is everywhere that I like to wheel. Maybe not the best price, but I hate dealing with long waits to get tires balanced..........

Discount Tire here. I considered the mail order thing, but I liked the fact that Discount has shops all over the place in the event that I need warranty repair. I know the mail order places have a third party warranty, but I really don't know how well they work.

I usually go to 4 wheel online first because they will try to beat competitors' price. I can say also that printing the best price I can find online and showing it to a local store is a good strategy to get a really good offer.
