Those tractor tyres are nuts are they actually ment for the landcruser/4x4 rims what speed can you do with them with out death wobbles

actually, i have had them up to 55 mph / 90 k/h (by the speedo which is out by roughly 20%) on the straight and smooth as a street tire but cornering you need to slow right down to 50 k/h, the sidewalls flex too much. they are like riding on chains up to 15 k/h but smooth out after that.

they fit perfectly on stock LC rims, fit inside the fender wells and need only 3" of lift over stock. $200/tire is cheap compared to boggers and other aggressive street tires. we did a run out in Alberta with a buggy on 38" Swampers and i could idle through anything he had to work at. i LOVE them but on hard rock they do not perform that great but as long as you have traction... you are moving. if you get stuck... you are REALLY stuck.

NOT RECOMMENDED!

Wow thats crazy and for $200 a tyre even better im not sure what its like riding on chains never been lucky enough to cruise on snow yet in perth i do mainly beachsand and bushsand wheelin but i can imagine simular to a tractor at low speeds on the road im well excited watching the vids with them how would they go on dry sand do you think can the tyres be let down to a low psi with out problems

Good stuff lets see more

i run the tires at 18 psi and they perform excellent on everything but hard rock (or rock hard sand would be the same)... picture climbing a rock face using your fists instead of your fingers...

I have seen a few FRP tops on the old Bundeera's,I think someone made them here for soft top owners. I got to have a quick look at one at a mechanics a while back.
Its hard to tell if the bundy has the rubber bonnet mounts or if its just the background but it has the frp and arb badge in corner ,what does frp stand for?? to me it means she has a fibre glass roof

crushers whats a 75
i always wondered why they stuck the bonnet windshield hold downs on the 70 rag only when the 73/74/75 all had the fold down frames... those little buggers are HUGE money.

couldnt find any good ones of th 70 on this computer but here is the 75.

Whats the color code for kermit green. Ive been meaning to look it up as I will paint something that color someday.

I wish I knew but I don't have the truck anymore.

in a nutshell a 75 is a cab chassis or troopie from 1985 to 1998 or basically an early 78 but with front leaf springs. Most other things are the same. The white troopie pic up the page is a 75.

Yes Yes My very bad i read it wrong:doh:, i thought i read something about a soft top 75 thinking there was some secret exception to the 75 ute and troopy think il take more time when im reading, silly Question of the week to me:D

I figured you knew what a 75 was...seeing as they were your pics..lol but I mentioned it in case some of the overseas fellas didn't know.

on the topic of 75's. does anyone have a softtop 75 ute? Ive seen pics of military softops but not many mainstream. Forgive me - I dont stray much from this forum so Im sure they do exist.

This my HZJ75. It usually has a camper on the back ,but around the city I leave it at home to save fuel.
It gets driven almost daily,if only to give the dog a run in the bush.
Its got a stock 1HZ ,dual 700 cca batteries ,40 UHF,HF radio,Bridgestone 694LT and ROH offroad rims.
The front suspension is Dobinsons and the rears are heavy duty West Coast Sprimgs with Dobinsons HD shocks
It also has the Toyota bull bar, factory dual tanks and 4 wheel disc brakes.

i have considered making a soft top for the 75 series over the years but i find the hard top goes on so quickly that a soft top becomes redundant and will probably end up sitting in the attic for long stretches of time.

this was my DD back in 2005, i had bought a exmine truck and got rid of the extremely heavy mine box. at the time i could not find a 75 series box so i built a 45 series box to fit. then i added the cage and cover. when i sold it the customer wanted it red so this is what is looked like when i sold it.

I saw that 75 at your place once. The 45 tub looked good on there. Mine will have a stock 75 tub by the end of the year. Id also like a canvas canopy. There are some interesting ones in AU - allan makes a sliding canopy that seems like a good idea.

You living on calgary time or what?

LOL!!
nah, just can't sleep. i was doing a bit of work on my new-to-me FJ75 today and has me all stoked to get it done. the faded paint was nasty so i hit the paint on the hood with some rubbing compound and wax and damn if it didn't come back.
the alluminum for the bed came in finally.
the new roof is sitting here.
i just have to get it together and pull a couple springs out of the back packs to make it ride nice then that will be my next part time DD.

This is my middy, the red barron in DD form. Clicks up about 350km a week, total 360,000 now. Box and motor need a little work.
