Only When vehicle stop this is happing. No obvious low engine oil level noticed.

I can't help you here, but check in after until US daylight time and somebody will help I'm sure.

I'm in Australia, so I'm like the night watchman who answers the phone and tells you "the mechanics will be here in the morning..."

Good luck,

David

PS - you should probably put your truck's details in your signature line.

Thats funny 'night watchman' good to know somebody is here 24/7. :D

Yupper dude were all gonna want details on the rig. Year, mileage, and maintenance etc........

Without more information this is just a scary guess, but it sounds like head gasket. White smoke can be 2 things that I know of. Anti-freeze or transmission fluid. I don't believe these trucks have any sort of modulator valve controlled by engine vacuum so that leaves anti-freeze. Sorry.

Rings would be oil smoke, which is blue. It sounds like this vehicle has a lot of smoke coming out the tail pipe, if that's the case and it was rings then oil consumption would be high.

Shows what i know. The smoking at stop and under acceleration is what made me think that. but yeah oil should be blue smoke.

Need more info. Year and how many miles? Do you have any water coming out the tail pipe? (Rev the motor at a stop and see) Have you done the bubble test w/ your water reservoir?

I am leaning to the beginnings of a head gasket leak just thinking the steam would dissipate quickly why driving.

White smoke == burning coolant ==> HG issue ...
Blue smoke == burning oil ==> pinston rings / pcv ...
Black smoke == running too rich ==> air/fuel mixture ...

Just make sure the color of the smoke you're seeing

Would place my money on the bad head gasket. Mine gasket was bad and had the classic white smoke out of the tail pipe.

Do the bubble test and post your results. It was discussed here in the past few days.
