Run it till it breaks, then go buy another one !

Some like them, some don’t. I prefer a ‘name brand’ winch.

And that quote above...Run it til it breaks, then go buy a new one...again, I prefer a name brand winch to help me (or a friend) get out of a tough...maybe dangerous spot.

I agree with John - the cheapo always seems to break when you most need it and then you're really stuck.

How much does your front bumper weigh?

I don’t know, but it’s soon to be off for powder coating...I know that the winch itself is around 85 lbs. alone.

Wall la ! Powder coat (Black Satin) finish, add one affordable “common man’s winch”...which makes me (el cheapo) happy ! ...and my wife happy ! ...and our wallet VERY happy !!

Living out on the flatlands of Nebraska it’s good enough for us I guess ! Outside of interior work (seats/console, wheels/tires) our last build is winding down....
