When driving steeply uphill, my 80 Series loses petrol and the engine stops (1 Viewer)

Hello there! Thanks for having me here.
I got no idea why my 94 FZJ80 turns off and leaks petrol when going up real steep?
Could an overflow be clogged or something?

Do you know Where it is leaking from? My guesses would be fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator or charcoal canister.

@voodu3 thanks mate! It's hard to tell from where it's leaking. It drips out somewhere underneath the bash plate of the transmission.

I’d check your fuel filter. Have you changed out recently? If not it probably needs to be done anyway.

@voodu3 thanks heaps! I'll check that filter, dunno if it was changed 1 year ago when i bought the car and the mechanic did a big service. Amazing with the pdf's! Thanks again! I'll let you know if i found out smth!
