Hello, I have a 77 FJ I am rebuilding. I purchased chrome spoked wheels with 33's on them Wheels are 10" wide. I cannot mount wheels without a wheel spacer without the tire rubbing on the steering arm. The pic attached shows the wheels mounted with a 1 1/2" wheel spacer. This worked for moving the vehicle around while working on it, however, the milled aluminum spacers only has ~1/2" of bite on the stud. I really do not want to use spacers if I do not have to, and if I am forced to, need one that have more bite on the stud. I cannot imagine someone else has not run into this issue. Not quite sure how to quantify this in the forum search. Help would be appreciated.
Not sure if it matters, but the alxe shown is off a 72 with a JT outfitters disk brake conversion kit.
