Average 14 on road. Offroad 8-11.

Highway: 15-18

been hashed over dozens of times. LC mpg is bad. Few people claim to get 15, we hate them.

usually 21 highway and 18 city. on 33s

12.5 - 14.5 depending on what I'm doing. 33s, ARB bumper, roof rack with a hard shell RTT

I’ll start,

06 lx470 33” tires 9-10 mpg! 😬

too low. something is wrong there unless you're carrying 2,000 lbs of gear and flooring it everywhere

usually 21 highway and 18 city. on 33s

I feel like that's impossible

I'm right around 13mpg. That's mostly city and rural 2 lane driving. ARB front bumper with winch and 33" tires.

City 13, HWY 15

12 city 14-15 highway. These numbers come from my scangauge and from fillup math. However, these numbers are off since i have 285/75/16s and not OEM tire size. I choose to ignore the difference to make myself feel better lmao

<< EDIT >> APOLOGIES, just realised I posted this to the 100 series forums.....:shame:

Calculated on-road average over approx 70k miles/9 years = 18.6L/100km = 15.2MPG(imp) = 12.65MPG(US)

As above, speedo is off due to tyres. I estimate true speed is ~5% greater than displayed so if this translates to odomoter reading, then my economy is actually 5% better than calculated (I travel further than indicated). 17.67L/100 = 15.98MPG(imp) = 13.3MPG(US)

I'm mechanically empathetic, but I admit I do drive a little too fast.....

Australian spec 1997 FZJ-80 5-speed manual (Non-OBDII)
220 to 330,000kms ( 136-205K miles)
285/75-R16s @ 38-44psi
Zero altitude
Temp range 5-43degC (40-110degF) mostly >18degC (65degF)
Mostly highway 50-70 MPH
AU 91RON ( US 87 equiv). I avoid E10 ethanol fuel where possible

10 around town, 11.5 highway. 34’s, 4.88 gears, 7300 lbs and as un-aerodynamic as a brick with my front bumper, winch, roof top tent, 270 degree awning and rear tire swing.
It’s not my daily, but I love it so much

I did a ~1500 mile trip recently, one way with a box on the roof, the other way with just a couple of ski racks. Got 10 MPG both directions with an average speed of about 80 MPH, correcting both for tire size. Truck was loaded up with gear and 4 full-grown (some overgrown!) men. I've got heavy bumpers and sliders on, but I was still hoping to do a little better than that. Mine's a 2001, so it's got the 4-speed auto, which probably contributed.
