Has anyone been able to install a winch from underneath with the bull bar in place? If so, what winch did you use?

Just trying to plan how long it will take and whether to remove the bumper. Recovering from a torn AC joint so trying to avoid heavy lifting if possible?

Also, as far as LED fogs, I see the Ironman and Stedi are direct fits. Any other recommendations?

TIA

I’m attempting this next weekend and will let you know. I do think it’s possible. I’m installing a warn vr 12-s and going to try from the bottom. My plan b is through the top by removing the grill. Plan c is to cry and pull the bull bar.

The harbor freight winch is getting replaced?

I finally ordered some from @turbo8 after waiting too long to replace my stocks I crushed on Top of World.

Went with the same, thanks for posting this as I hadn't seen these.

I installed my harbor freight badlands zxr12000 through the top w the ironman bumper installed on my lx570. It’s a surprisingly compact winch. I don’t think I removed the grill to do it been a while, can’t remember. Not a tough job though.

I installed the 12k Smitty X20 Gen 3 through the bottom. To access the line release through the bumper hole I cut a small piece out of the grill below the bumper line. Control box did not need to be relocated.

Bought the ARB camera relocation kit to find out I didn't need it with the IM bumper. Factory cable is just long enough to mount the camera in the Ironman cutout and uses the factory mounting bracket. View is great. My license plate would have interfered a bit, but I just bent the bottom of the plate inward below the plate letters.

Any Ironman 200 Series Deluxe Bumper owners have a copy of the hardware/fastener list that came with their bumper? If so, would you help a brother out by scanning and sharing here?

I have few bolts that need changing out that have oxidized the point that I can no longer look at them, and would love to get my hands on the list of hardware for current and future reference.

Reached out to Ironman, and they said they didn't have one...

I don’t have the paper, but if helpful I did have a photo of the hardware itself

That’s some bullsh@t. Dude, you made the bumper then shipped it to me with the hardware; give me a god damn list of what was in the box!
Yeah it sucks. I found a great deal on an ARB bumper for my 200 but there was no hardware. I reached out to them and they sent me the parts list which means nothing bc they won’t sell you the parts. 😂 I tried to get OK4WD to order them but they don’t care bc it would be such a small order I guess. In reality it’s a dumb way to do business as I wouldn’t deal with them again. They said ‘These parts are special order and will take a few months if we order them so you can order them.’ So between ARB and OK4WD it was a bust.

Something similar happened to me. I needed a couple of parts for my ARB bumper and none of the vendors who sell these bumpers would help.

I wish I could order just those long bolts and the metal threaded I blocks. My Trail Tailor bumper only mounts to the frame horns, and I've always really wanted that second method of securing the bumper. I could probably buy some steel and then cut and tap it but what a PITA

You might drill a hole in e piece of steel and tack weld a nut on the other side of the hole.

Looks like an awesome solution, ordered!! His skids look good also
By the way, the included bolts for these are JIS M12x1.25x55mm

A 17mm socket fits the Bolt head.

Belmetric PN: BF12X1.25X55PCLZ

Recommend 92ft-lbs dry bolt torque

😀

I have zero ability to weld, sadly

I’d likely just try to recreate what Ironman, ARB, and others have done with what piece of metal and just tap/thread it. But I’m trying to avoid that effort if only someone would sell me those bits :)
