Right now I'm getting 18.7 after refuels. I'm on stock everything and don't have a lead foot. This will all change in the next month after suspension and tires. On the last full tank I was able to get 330 miles and computer showed a 22 mile cruising range.

If you should do a supplemental post after the suspension and tires, just remember to check your mileage via GPS. Your new tires will give an erroneous mileage.

One question though. (330+22)/18.7 =19 gallon again... is the tank size 19gal? Confused.

This is very interesting: I just Googled the following exactly as it is in bold italics:
"2019 gx 460 gas tank size" and it says 19 gal
"2018 gx 460 gas tank size" and it says 23 gal
"2013 gx 460 gas tank size" and it says 23 gal
Did the gas tank get smaller for 2019??? Maybe better MPG for this year???
You can cut and paste my searches and see for yourself!

19 imp gal.... so the mpg is calculated per us gallon or imp gallon. If latter, mpg really sucks. Basically 15/1.2=12.5 mp us gallon

Wonder if Google did supply a Imperial Gallon volume?
I really didn't think there was any difference in the new GX's, but I guess I put too much trust in what I find on Google.

Running Stock size Nitto Ridge Grappler on 2013 Gx460 2013 - 4 hour Trip with new tires in some heavy traffic 19MPG

I drove up from the Bay Area to Tahoe, and back down to Sacramento on a tank of fuel. Odometer says 336 miles, and the Chevron pump says 19.458 gallons of 91 octane. That's a calculated mileage of 17.27 MPG.

2010 GX with BFG KO2s, 275/70-17 in size. The tire calculators tell me that is 5% error. So, if that error translates to the MPG, then the corrected mileage is 18.13 MPG.

Incidentally, this kind of data fascinates me. I compiled everything into a table to make it easier to compare. Yes, I got a little lazy listing out all the mods for some of you (**cough** HitchCrack). Looking forward to adding more to this table.

Sure thing. I'm hoping people continue to update this thread with more information about their mileage. For example, I'm curious if an aftermarket air filter helps.

My buddy has a 2017 runner and just picked up a cold air intake from the TRD sale a couple months back. He has noticed negligible change in MPG.

Any chance you could use the Excel "Average" function and get the mean mileage of everyone so far? It would kind of cool to see the mean MPG between all types of setups of GX's!

I took another trip, this time much longer and with more gear in the back of the GX. Also my config changed just a bit, I removed the Front Runner roof rack and installed Rhino Rack cross bars, but still have the James Baroud RTT, and I installed the Icon coil-overs to lift the vehicle. I drove 2,355 miles and averaged 16.9mpg. For the days I dove all highway portions I maxed out at 19.8mpg (on a 519 mile leg of the trip from Flagstaff, AZ to Ogden, UT) and for the days I did mostly trails I was at a low for the day at 9.5mpg. If I average the days I did mostly highway miles I got an average of 17.5mpg.

I think going from the Front Runner to the Rhino Rack brought back some of my highway MPG. I was driving higher speeds on the highways than I did when I had the Front Runner, but appears that I was getting better MPG. (all MPG is via my Automatic OBD II device, which I would no longer recommend due to the fact for new users they went to a subscription service).

For the spread sheet, my truck is a 2012 and I still have the Cooper Discover A/TWs.

That is fantastic highway mileage! Just filled up and averaging about 17 mpg with freeway speeds at 70 mpg and around town.
Also, I used to use a Bluetooth OBD II also in my 100 series LC, the software I used a Torque OBD 2 (Torque OBD 2 engine diagnostics — Torque) app for my Android phone. One time purchase, I think at the time it was $5.00 and I have the Bluetooth dongle for my OBD II. I believe Torque also have an trial app too. Better than a subscription.

Just to update with some more numbers. Current setup is Front runner roof rack, Sliders, 265/65/18 E-rated K02's with spidertrax wheel spacers. Last weekend I took a trip ~300 miles round trip, 80% highway, averaged about 17.5 mpg. This past weekend I traveled from LA to SF, with cruise control set to 75-78mph almost the whole way, I average about 16.7 both ways. Both times is fully loaded with family, fridge, and drawer setup. City driving is 12-13.

Previously on a stock setup the most I was able to manage was 19.9mpg on a stock setup, that took a lot of effort trying to hypermile with a GX. With RTT and Front runner rack, the most I was able to achieve was 17.0 mpg.
