What’s this?

I was cleaning my interior on my FJ60 when I noticed a wire just hanging. Does anyone know what this is and where it should go? Any info would be appreciated.

I think I found out where it should go so I tried to delete it but here it is..

Looks to be an adjuster cable for the HVAC
most likely to adjust air location

Yep, if you move the Defrost/Vent/Floor control does that cable move in and out?
