It looks nice and seems rust free. Too bad that $16k would have almost bought an entire LS retrofit on a nice LC. 250k miles seems mild in the 80 world for a rebuild. I would buy the rig planning on some type of future engine issue so Maybe $8k at the high. Looks really clean and a nice color option.

Also. As someone already mentioned. Replace that heater valve at the firewall before it blows.

Thx....this is exactly what I need. Someone experience to let me know what the fzj80 needs (out of laziness I call it FJ80).
I think heater hose was replaced but not heater valve.

Values will vary depending on the local area, and how motivated the seller is. I would say this truck will sell in the 9-10k in my area--if the lockers work, doesn't need immediate ball joint rebuilds, nothing is leaking, and no weird sounds/ticks coming from the engine or drive train.

I have my '94 insured for $20K and it's mostly stock. I have like $18K worth of parts into mine and at least 1000 hours of my own time and probably a couple grand in tools that I needed to do all the work. I don't think I could buy another one that had all of the work done that I have done for too much less than that. I have no plans to ever sell, but if someone waved $25K under my nose, I would think about it.
