whats a powersteer box worth?

Would anyone know what a 2nd hand 4x series power steer box ,arm and and 2 hoses is worth abouts

there were getting up to like $800 for a complete setup.

Now they seem to have settled down to around the $400 AUD mark with pump etc for a good one.

Two sold on eBay over the last 3 weeks for just under this.

make sure you also get the steering colum shaft cause there shorter than non power steer ones

Probably worth more in the States if you are willing to ship as there are not many options for us in the states for all the RHD to upgrade to ps. There are quite a few RHD trucks that have been imported.

Do you mean the shaft with the steering wheel on or the shaft between the steer colm and pwr steer box

Both. They are the same thing. It's just one shaft all the way from the steering wheel to the rag joint at attaches to the PS gearbox.

What they're worth and what people pay are two different things........I've seen some insane prices for an original steering setup, better (and actually cheaper) to go the combination of 60 and 75 series gear, this is what I'm doing at the moment.

scary i really should put the box and colum i have sitting in the shed on ebay one day

however if someone wanted to make a offer id accept alot less than that
