Get the glass replacement on your insurance. It costs pennies but when you need a new windshield, it costs you nothing. I am getting ready to replace the windshield on our FJC as the wife took a huge rock dead center a few weeks back.

I have a chip in mine. Got it first week I had vehicle. It hasn't spread so far, but ....

I realized that my driver side rear is 1" lower than my passenger side rear.:hhmm:

yeah the fj has something called "drivers side lean". mine is the same way. it's because the heavy s*** is on the drivers side (gas tank/battery)...there's a small spacer you can buy to put underneath your drivers side rear coil that evens it out. i'm thinking about buying one.

I ordered one last week. I knew my truck leaned I was just shocked that it was actually a whole inch lower.

But is it curable? I always noticed a slight lean but it has gotten a lot worse recently. I removed my rear sway bar about 3 weeks ago and that is when I really started to notice a difference. Any chance they are correlated or is it just my imagination?

all things are with enough $:)

yup would lean more as the sway bar transfer load to keep vehicle more level while turning.

the only Toyota trucks that don`t seem to lean are the pickups 80`s & 100`s

if it does weigh more on one side then a simple spring weight change will fix it.

the straight axle trucks like my Trailblazer from factory different front springs due to the way the had to mont the third, spring on pass side is higher on the axle .

that is why when most lifts are done the springs are the same so now the join the tilt club.
atemp fix would be to add a spacer but if it truly weighs more on that side or corner then a rate change is the only perm way to go.

The money thing could be a problem. I ordered a 10mm spacer from Toytec last week to try to correct this issue but I swear it leans more every day and 10mm is not going to even touch the lean i've got going on right now. I think my solution will be to put the sway bar back on when I add the spacer. I may eventually swap my springs to some heavier OME springs but my truck rides rough enough already so I am not looking forward to it getting worse.

Starting the tear down for the ARB and new fender!
