Used 2009 LEXUS GX 470 For Sale at Your Auto Source | VIN: JTJBT20X090173892 - https://www.yourautosourceinc.com/used/LEXUS/2009-LEXUS-GX+470-f5aca1a70a0d0cc77d7c2c64c517fac1.htm

Just some rust around the frame welds, nothing bad at all. No dash cracks. A lot of small hood chips. Been sitting for a year. I made a blind low ball offer on my spam email and they accepted it no questions ask which is a little concerning. Not anyones favorite color and more miles than id prefer but if i could get this for 4 figures and the history looks solid why not?

Anything 4 figures would be a great value IMO.

Wonder why it has been for sale for a year?

$9999 for that thing sounds like a good deal to me as long as its not rusted in half. Even if the t-belt hasn't been done I'd probably grab it if I was looking for a GX.

Test drove it today. Feels great, anyone see any issues around the actuator?

Appears to have been slinging some grease after a driveshaft service, so the stains are not from a t-case actuator seal leak... A good sign in my book. About the same amount of corrosion my 2004 had when I got it last year, not a big deal. How does the lower radiator support look?

I will tell you that when I flew down to Mobile, AL about 6 months ago to deal with family bidness, I found a pristine rust free 2008 GX with 149k miles for about 12k.

That's not holy crap rust, and pretty good for PA, but I'd offer less than 10k for sure.

These are like their 4Runner kin and the radiator support rusts through, as others have noted. There's a piece of foam in there that really traps the saltwater.

I did not check the rad support specifically but i saw nothing crazy under the hood. This was defiantly garaged. They're checking on the if/when the timing belt was done for me today.

$10K would be fair price for it. I would not pay $12K or more for it, it's just a bit too chipped and crusty underneath.

Yup. Was sitting on their lot for a years until I posted it on here. I took the pass because I asked around about that dealership and some of the conflicting data I received/didn't recieve from them.

In other news went to buy a low mileage Blizzard tonight and was taken out from under me on my way up. That makes two in a month, now there isn't a single decent GX or 4th gen 4runner available in my area.
