What UCA yall running ??

I love them. Third Toyota truck I've run Camburg upper arms on. 100% satisfied. Silent, smooth, greasable.

While the SPC may be more adjustable for fine tuning alignments on the upper joint, that's the ONLY place where it excels. The rest of this post is nonsense. Poly bushings have been used for quite some time without problems. Mine are silent, been running for over 30k now, are beefier than stock, and allow increased down travel when paired with my King setup. I couldn't be happier.

While a case could be made for jumping sand dunes, that is merely a red herring in this conversation. They may be an overkill for a mall cruiser, so I can see the reluctance . A simple search on here will also yield problems with SPC arms. No product will ever be perfect 100% of the time in 100% of the applications.

By and large, the old saying of "race truck parts make race truck sounds" is pretty old thinking.

Did you modify your kings for even more down travel?
Mine allowed 2” more on stock arms. Much more and I’d expect the CV to have issues.

In a way, yes. I told Ben at Filthy what I was running and he had them modified to match the total travel of the UCA without hyperextending the CV. I was running the OME setup with the same Camburg arms and I downright hated the setup. I don't think that was the fault of OME though, I think the previous owner put in WAY too stiff of springs front and rear.

Good to know. I'm very happy with my Kings and knowing they can do even more with supporting mods is impressive.

Thanks for vote of confidence, @Cruisin911 . What kind of schedule do you grease/lube yours on?

I had some issues with order completion on my Total Chaos UCA’s from where I ordered so went with these. Talked with the guys at Camburg and they said Total Chao’s UCA’s are actually their design and someone who broke off from the company awhile back. The main difference with the Camburg’s vs TC is 1.25” compared 1.0” size uni balls and thicker tube walls apparently. Keep in mind this is just what a rep said so could be true or false.

Most try to grease every oil change. It's an easy way to remember.

I went with SPC's on a King lift.

I set a reminder on the maintenance page to grease them every 10k. No problems.

I have the Nitro Gear UCAs with a Tough Dog 45mm lift. I was looking for a Fixed design UCA that would be quiet/squeak free. 8,000 miles and no complaints. At the time Tough Dog or OME had not released their UCAs or I may have gone with theirs instead. They Look like a similar design and are much more affordable.
