I've removed my running boards and soon will be removing by front bumper for the ARB. Eventually my rear bumper will be coming off too (put off now a little longer secondary to waiting to look at what ARB is going to release). My question is what have you guys done with these removed body parts? I live in a condo so storing them will be a hassle or next to impossible. Also I want to sell them and get the most that I can to help off set the cost of the after market parts. Is there a specific place that buys TLC body parts? Do autobody places buy these things? Anyone ever sold bumpers, etc on ebay? Should I find a way to keep them? ( I cannot see putting them back on once off). Any suggestions would be appreciated. And yes, I know I could just put an ad in the newspaper, but thought I'd turn to the forum to see what's been done by some of you out there. Thanks

At one time Semlin was going to build a sculpture out of all the discards.

I say dustbin.....

Probably not gonna be worth the hassle of selling them for the $ gained..................................

Just be happy you got better chit and move on.....................................................................

I think some have sold parts to www.cruiserparts.net You could atleast try to get something out of them...if no buyers, then maybe just offer them for free in a paper, better than throwing them out IMO.

Wooooo stop right there!

I had a little boo boo a while back and the front bumper and wings/brackets are a bloody fortune.

Post them in the clasified section some one will eventually pick them up from ya, I know I would of paid $200 for your front bumper last month.

A year or so back I saw a set of oem running boards go for $250 on ebay. $250 would be worth my time.

i throw 'em in the bushes until some cruiserhead wants 'em. Seriously, my garage gets pretty ridiculous looking, but I have gotten a lot of Cruiser karma from giving away or selling cheap parts that I don't really need.

Anybody in Chicagoland need some soft top doors or hard top sides? :D

Put an add up on Epay. You never know. When I sold my runningboards I had lucked out and found osmeone that had posted a WTB add on the old ACME site. I met them and installed the boards for them in a grocery store parking lot :D Think total I got was around $325 including install charge of $75 :D

I eBayed a couple of bumpers, some fender trim off a Tacoma, some running boards, and some other smaller stuff. eBay is great, as long as you don't mind shipping/boxing large and bulky items.

Mine went to the dump but the main reason was they were already trashed because I started wheeling it with the stock running boards and bumpers.
