Thanks for the advice. You could be right, both rockers look a little fishy. But even if it is bondo, its not much. I looked at it again. It seriously only has one spot on the whole tub that has any significant rust. Right under the drivers feet is a little hole. Easy to patch. I checked the shock mounts, rear frame and tub mounts, and fenders and they all looked great. dry and clean, with the slightest surface rust, no bubbles or rot. PS..... i own it now!!!! and he accepted the $2000. I'm estatic!!! It fired right up this morning and drove beautifully. Everything works (even the window wipers). one bulb is burnt out (signal). Thats it. first thing i'll do is an oil change and general tune up. One thing that is broken is the rear handle for the hatch (he broke it the other day). Anyone have one? i'm assuming i cant weld something like that.

I'd give asking price if he doesn't accept the $2k offer. Looks repaired in it's life but not modified. How is the wiring? I'd give the asking price for that easily! When you get the title in hand let us know!

Oh sorry maybe you misunderstood my writing. He accepted my offer!!! I have the title in hand. I've already begun fixing that broken handle. It's out. Now i just need to know if i can weld a casted piece like that back together?
