Can anyone let me know what the best way to store my new Eezi 1400 series 3 RTT? I was thinking it would be best to store it like this upright on its hinge so both ends would be up? I just bought it brand new for $1350 shipped from someone who bought and had a month and never used, still in box, great tent from the looks?

Do you have a garage? Before I mounted mine on my M416 I had a pulley system in the garage to lift it up to the ceiling and completely out of the way.

I used a pulley system to tie mine to the ceiling of my garage as well. Why not mount it to the vehicle/trailer, they are bomb proof and made to last a decade or two in the elements.

My BJ42 and M101 are both about to be torn down for their restore and I do not have a garage. I am going to keep in my office at home but wondering if ok to keep upright like this or do I need to lay flat?

I would think that it would be fine stored on it's side. You may want to put some foam or something on the ground first and then set the hinges on it. That way the weight might spread and be a bit easier on the hinges.

A true enthusiast would just hang it above their bed! I remember keeping a complete soft top and several Jeep parts in my bedroom when I was younger.... Takes a special woman to put up with that!

ive decided when i have a kid his first bed will be a roof top tent

works for many reasons

1. when we go camping for the first time he wont even know the difference
2. when hes older it can double as a birthday present when he wants to go camping :D
