So I test drove a couple of 2015s and both times the trip computer was showing around 11.5 mpg. I am sure they are driven on short test drives and people are testing how it accelerates etc, but I was kind of hoping for 14-15 combined. I am not into hypermiling but I don't have a lead foot either. I drive 20000 miles a year so the gas mileage is not completely unimportant. So I would like to know what I can realistically expect in mixed daily commutes, road trips, etc. Let me know if this question was already addressed for a stock 200. It doesn't look like the 2016's 8-speed will make a big difference so your real life experience is probably my best basis for my estimate

I would not look at the average of a rig sitting on a lot, they sometimes start them up and let them run, move them around the lot etc... While stock I was averaging around 15 pretty easy, now with lift and tires I'm getting around 12 with mixed driving... I'm pretty heavy on the pedal!

About 15 mpg, my rig is stock, town & country driving more town thou.

275/70r18 bfg ko2 I get 14.5 mixed and 16.5 highway

I can certainly live with 15.
back when it was stock the wife and I would battle it out on some of the road trips to see who could get the best MPG average... 19 MPG's on a stock rig is possible at the right speed and conditions...

It can happen

15 all day

All city, about 11.5 All highway around 15.5 at 80.
When it was stock, I took one trip and got 18.3 over a 200 mile road trip. Those days are long gone.

I've consistently averaged about 14mpg in mixed driving over the past few years. On the highway, I can get about 20 if I keep to the speed limit and use cruise control.

Just like @steenh , I too remember the days of good MPGs. Nowadays, I am lucky if I see anything over 10.0 MPG in the city. I usually average around 9.4 MPG with all of the mods I have done. Oh well.

10-11 mpg. 15 at BEST on highway trips.

I average 13~13.5 with a mix of city and highway (80mph) on 34" tires. Acceleration around town is a big killer...heavy foot, heavier tires.

In the LX, with Goodyear Eagle GT IIs, I see mostly 11.5 around town and just above 14 on the highway. Not great and not as good as I had hoped when we bought it, but I do LOVE the power!

15 most tanks of mixed driving, 40% city 60% highway. All highway 17-19 depending on which way the wind is blowing.
Last weekend had a nice tailwind coming back from 300 mile trip and filled up for the trip back and showed 18mpg when I got home, Ran 83mph most of the way home. I know that 20+mph tail wind was responsible for at least 1 or 2 of those MPGs.

Don't know the math to calculate but I usually get a little less than 500kms (300 miles) out of a tank full.... And my tank + sub tank totals 138L (36.5 gallons) of fuel.

:slap:

But if I take a road trip I can manage 370 miles on a tank full

Just did a quick trip to Santa Fe over the weekend. I was happy to be getting this with stock size Terra Grapplers, until I saw posts with mpg pushing 20!

Mostly mixed 25% highway 75% around town
