Actually, I was going to make an offer, but I'd be very interested for any retail leads you could give me. Thanks,

None at hand - do a search on it - 5 minutes thru a search engine and you'll find prices about $100 lower than this guy.

Yeah, that's the funny thing, Froogle and most web searches return about this price. Must be simply no deals at the moment...

I'm way cheap though so no doubt I'll die trying for a better price...

There you go Scott - three great prices!

Okay, so right above $1k is the going price then?

That is my impression--there may be a cheaper source that is not known to me.

I've had mine for roughly 3 years, but the $1000 price is what I remember. I bought it locally, they price matched and no shipping, but I had to pay sales tax. The M12000 is not as sexy as the 8274, but it's a solid winch with lots of power.

Trying to sell the winch to the Chevy Blazer guys? ie, search ebay under CHEVY WINCH? Looks like a standard 12k to me...

4wheelonline.com will put the M12 on sale every now and then for $973 (regular "sale" price is $1073) and they have free shipping. Cheapest I've seen it other than used on Ebay, which still sometimes has them for ~$800 for beat up winches.
