What kind of dog breed do you have?

West German Shepherd. We bring her home in 2 weeks when she's 8 weeks old.

Good call... we grew up with littermates "German" German Shepherds... parents were both working police dogs from Germany. Wish I had a picture of both of them, but the female lived to be 14 in great working order. Her brother still lived to be 11. None of the structural breakdown you see in the American lines.

Thanks. We had a Belgian/German Shepherd growing up. Bought him from the pound for $20 and he lived to be 16.5

We're not taking that gamble with our dog. Both her parents are from Germany and have passed all the X-Ray, DNA, Sport and showing breeding requirements. We're going to play with her this weekend. Very excited. I've wanted another GSD since I was 15.

Snow, he absolutely loves snow. Sometimes we find him sleeping in the backyard in a couple of feet of snow.

Don't forget to pack me Dad!!!! Whenever the camping gear comes out he is ready to go.

New dog
