What is this weight on the back of an r150f and do I need it? (1 Viewer)

Is this something I need? No idea what it does other than make a great wheel chalk.

Vibration damper. I noticed a slight difference on the highway when I removed mine... minor vibration telegraphing through the shifters

Thank you. Between the stiff motor mounts and balance shaft deleted diesel I don't want added vibrations. I'll leave it on. Was a great help getting the transmission onto the motor, gave my strap something to grab onto to pull them together so I had my hands free clocking and spinning the output flange.


This wheel chalk has proven it has many uses
