My daughter is in Iceland right now touring in this rig,what is it?

Kinda looks it has 70 series fenders... so Ill guess some sorta 70 series 5 door. hzj78?

Just a guess but judging from the roof line it looks like a Nissan Safari (aka Patrol) with aftermarket Icelandic flares to fit big boots. Something like this one:

safari or pajaro? i know the nissans are really common in finland...turbo'd intercooled diesels...mmmmm probably similar in popularity in iceland maybe...dunno. looks pretty cool tho

Yeah, now that I can actually see it....

those do look like ford headlights. And that side double door is kindof fordish as well.

Found it. Yes it is a Ford. It's a Greyline "Golden Circle Super Jeep Tour" rig:

Wish I had something like that to play with when I drove for them in the Yukon and Alaska.

ya i guess they couldnt call it the brown circle ford econoline 12 passengers stuffed in a van tour. probably more reliable than using a heep.
