What is this line & where does it go? Just replaced a head gasket on a 1994 Land Cruiser and don't know where this line goes to.

Thanks for the input. I'm helping a friend on his Land Cruiser so way different that what I've worked on in the past.

Here's a pic that helps show what going on. Left circle is water bypass 2 and right in bypass 1 that connects to the fitting I was wondering about.

Yup. Seen a bunch of these hoses fail. Royal pain to get to for trail repairs.
