What is this broken lever hanging in front of my rear axle? (1 Viewer)

Hi all -

New to the forum and still getting a handle on my new-to-me 2001 LX 470. It has relatively low mileage but clearly had a bit of neglect from previous owners, so going through the punch list to clean things up. The other day I was poking around and spotted this:

This is directly in front of the rear axle, looking towards the fuel tank. This lever (?) appears to have been sheared off at its connection point. What am I looking at here? Doesn't look like a hard fix, but have to know what I'm working with first

Hmm, doesn't look OEM but I have a LC not LX so I could be wrong.

Can you tell where it broke from?

I'll check later today. Couldn't find it on parts diagram but will look around.

LC so LX may be different.
